I used to work at an architecture firm. It was great but I felt like my dreams had betrayed me. I didn't want to spend my life slaving away behind a computer working on someone elses dream. So I became a Creative Artist who designs unique, one of a kind feather art and metal jewelry. I established Wandering Lily Designs in 2010. As a Creative Artist, I transform the beauty of nature with naturally molted peacock feathers, as well as other feathers such as, pheasant, rooster, guinea fowl into durable, sustainable fashion jewelry and hair accessories. The feather jewelry includes pendants, earrings and chokers. The accessories include hair clip fascinators ranging in sizes from small to large that can be placed in hair to enhance a hairstyle or to embellish a hat, lapel, or handbag for the discriminating woman. In addition, other jewelry is individually designed utilizing gold, sterling silver, brass and copper metals into pendants, earrings, bracelets and wire wrapped rings. Wandering Lily Designs is an amalgamation of my background in architecture, graphic design, fashion, and varied interests in anthropology, and traveling abroad. These elements are always contributing to the development of fresh new lines of jewelry and hair accessories. I grew up in beautiful San Diego, California; and as a youth spent much time exploring the local canyons, preserves, beaches, mountains and deserts. Abundant local sun combined with diverse nature environments influenced the Creative Artist with a profound appreciation for these elements and so my designs reflect the beauty of nature in a subtle way.
